Black Grave

The Black Grave is like a super-duper big hill made of dirt, but it's not just any hill! It's actually a special burial place, called a kurgan, that's super old. It's the biggest one in a city called Chernihiv in Ukraine.

Think of it as a giant, ancient monument built by people long, long ago. It's part of a special park that protects old treasures called the National Sanctuary of Ancient Chernihiv.

People from a long time ago built the Black Grave. We don't know their names, but they wanted to create a special resting place for important people. They piled up lots and lots of earth, maybe using many hands and many days of work, to make this enormous mound. It's like building a giant sandcastle, but much, much bigger and made of dirt!

The Black Grave is special because it's a really important piece of history. It tells us about the people who lived in Ukraine many, many years ago.
