Barrel

A barrel is like a big, round container that's longer than it is wide. It usually bulges out in the middle, like a friendly tummy! They are often made from wooden planks, called staves, all stuck together.

These planks are held tight by rings, like belts, made of wood or metal. Sometimes, a smaller barrel is called a keg. Barrels are super useful for holding all sorts of things, from yummy drinks to important supplies.
