American Party of the United States

The American Party of the United States is a group of people who live all over the United States. Think of the USA as a giant playground with lots of different states, like California, Texas, and New York. This party is found in all these places! They don't have one special city or park where they all gather, but their ideas are shared by people from coast to coast.

This party started sharing its ideas a long, long time ago, back in 1969! That's even before your parents were born! They have a special list of rules and ideas called 'Permanent Principles' that they still follow today. Imagine having a favorite set of rules for a game that you always play the same way. That's kind of like what this party does with its principles.

The American Party is a conservative party. This means they often like to stick to older, traditional ways of doing things. They believe in certain principles that they think are very important for the country. Sometimes, they even worked with another group called the American Independent Party, sharing the same candidates for president and vice president in elections.

When it was time to choose leaders for the country, like the President, this party would put forward their own special people to run for the job. They did this starting in 1976. It's like picking your favorite player for a team! They wanted people who believed in their specific ideas to represent them and lead the country.
