Ambrose Burnside

Ambrose Burnside was a brave soldier who fought in the American Civil War. He was also a governor of Rhode Island, which is like being the boss of a whole state! But he was also a clever inventor. He even invented a special gun for horses! He was known for his bushy side hair, which is how we got the word 'sideburns'!
