Imagine four friends from Sweden who loved making music! There was Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and Anni-Frid. They called themselves ABBA, which is like a fun nickname made from their first names. They started making music together way back in 1972. Their songs were so happy and catchy that people all over the world wanted to sing and dance along!

ABBA became super famous when they won a big music contest called Eurovision in 1974 with their song 'Waterloo'. It was like winning the biggest talent show ever! After that, their songs were played everywhere. They even had two couples in the group, Agnetha and Björn, and Anni-Frid and Benny. Their music was so popular it sold millions and millions of records, more than many other bands!

One of ABBA's most famous songs is 'Dancing Queen'. It's so popular that it's been called one of the best songs ever! ABBA's music is still loved today, even though they stopped making music together a long time ago. Their songs are so good that they were made into a super fun musical called 'Mamma Mia!' and even movies that lots of people watched.

Even though ABBA stopped performing as a group in 1982, their music lives on! They sold over 150 million records, which is a HUGE number. That's like putting 150 million CDs in a line that could go around the Earth many times! In 2021, they even released a new album called 'Voyage' and created amazing digital versions of themselves to perform concerts. How cool is that?!
