Portugal's Big Vote Day!

In Portugal, there's a special building called the Assembly of the Republic. It's like a big classroom where important grown-ups decide how to run the country. In 2025, everyone got to vote for who they wanted to sit in those seats. It's like picking your favorite superheroes to make the rules!

Sometimes, leaders have to ask everyone again if they still trust them. In Portugal, the leader had to do this, and sadly, not enough people said 'yes'. So, they had to have a new vote, like a surprise pop quiz for the whole country! It was the third time in just a few years.

A team called the Democratic Alliance won the most seats, which is great for them! But they didn't get enough seats to make all the decisions by themselves. Another team, Chega, got a lot more votes than before, becoming the second biggest team. The Socialist Party didn't do as well this time. It’s like a big game where everyone tries to get the most points!
