Delhi's Big Vote Day!

Delhi is a super busy city in India, like a giant ant farm buzzing with people! It's a place with lots of history, like old castles and busy markets. The weather can be really hot in the summer, like a warm hug, and cooler in the winter, like a gentle breeze. It's a place where millions of people live and work together.

In 2013, the grown-ups in Delhi got to pick who would be in charge of their city. It was like choosing captains for a big game! Lots of people voted, and it was a really close race. Two main teams, the BJP and the AAP, were trying their best to win. It was so close, it was like a tie in a game of tag!

One team, called the AAP, was brand new and nobody knew if they would win. But guess what? They did really well! The other team, the BJP, won the most votes, but not enough to be the only leader. So, they had to work together, which can be tricky like sharing toys!

Because it was so close, the BJP decided not to be the main leader. So, the new team, AAP, got to be in charge! Their leader, Arvind Kejriwal, became the chief minister. It was like the new kid on the block getting to be the class president with help from others!
