Zielona Góra

Imagine a beautiful place in western Poland called Zielona Góra. Its name means 'Green Mountain' because it's surrounded by lovely green hills! It's a big city, but it feels cozy. It's like a special treasure hidden in the land. The weather there is nice, perfect for growing things.

Zielona Góra has a very, very long history! People have lived here for hundreds of years. A Duke named Henry the Bearded brought the first people to this area way back in 1222. It's seen kings and queens and even some spooky witch trials a long, long time ago.

Guess what Zielona Góra is famous for? Grapes and wine! They have lots of vineyards, which are fields where grapes grow. Every year, they have a huge party called the Wine Fest. It's a time for everyone to celebrate the yummy wine made from the local grapes. It's a very happy and colorful celebration!

Zielona Góra is one of the two capital cities of its region, called Lubusz Voivodeship. This means it's a very important place!
