From Rookie to Champion

Zhao Xintong started playing snooker when he was quite young, just 19 years old, which is like starting high school! He worked really hard and got better and better. In 2021, he won a super important competition called the UK Championship.

Then, in 2022, he won another big one, the German Masters. He became so good that he was ranked number six in the whole world! That's like being one of the best students in the whole country.

A Rocky Road to Victory

Sometimes, even the best players make mistakes. Zhao Xintong had a tough time when he was investigated for match-fixing. This means he was accused of not playing fairly.

Because of this, he couldn't play snooker for a while. But Zhao didn't give up! He practiced and practiced, and when he was allowed to play again, he entered competitions to try and become a professional player once more.

He won lots of games and earned his spot back!

Winning the World Again!

After his break, Zhao Xintong came back stronger than ever! He played in the World Championship again, and guess what? He won it!

He beat a very good player named Mark Williams in the final. This was his second time winning the biggest prize in snooker. It shows that if you believe in yourself and keep trying, you can achieve amazing things, even after facing challenges.

He's now ranked number 11 in the world!
