Zarah Sultana

Imagine someone who gets to talk about important rules and ideas for a whole city! That's Zarah Sultana. She was born a long, long time ago, on October 31st, 1993. She became a special kind of helper called a Member of Parliament, or MP for short. This means she represents people from a place called Coventry South and tells their stories in a big building where laws are made.

Zarah's job is like being a captain of a team, but her team is all the people in her area. She listens to what they need and then goes to a very important place called Parliament to share their ideas. She used to be part of a big team called the Labour Party, but she decided to join a new team with other people who think differently.

This shows that even grown-ups can change their minds and start new adventures!

Zarah is known for being brave and speaking up for what she believes in. She once voted to change a rule about money for families, which was a really big decision! Sometimes, when people have strong ideas, they might not agree with everyone, and that's okay. Zarah shows us that it's important to have your own voice and stand up for your beliefs, even if it's tricky.

Even though Zarah isn't part of the Labour Party anymore, she's still a very important person. She's now part of a new group called 'Your Party' and also works with the Independent Alliance. This means she's still working hard to help people and make a difference. It's like when you start a new game with new friends – it's a fresh start with exciting possibilities!
