Woodrow Wilson

Woodrow Wilson was a very smart man who became the 28th President of the United States. He was born a long, long time ago, on December 28, 1856, in Virginia. Before he was president, he was a teacher and even a college president! He loved books and learning, and he believed that everyone should have a chance to go to school. He was like a super-smart principal for the whole country!

President Wilson had some really big ideas. He wanted to make sure that businesses were fair and didn't cheat people. He also believed that countries should work together to stop wars.

He even helped create a special club for countries called the League of Nations, which was like a big playground where countries could talk instead of fight. He thought that if countries talked, they could solve problems peacefully.

Woodrow Wilson was president during a very difficult time called World War I. It was a huge war that involved many countries. He tried his best to keep America out of the fighting at first, but eventually, the United States had to join.
