The Wicked Witch of the West!

In the story, a brave girl named Dorothy accidentally splashes her with a bucket of water, and poof! The witch disappears. It's a very famous moment in a classic book called 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'.

Did you know the Wicked Witch wasn't always green? In the first book, she didn't have green skin. But in a super famous movie made in 1939, an actress named Margaret Hamilton played her, and she had bright green skin! This look was so cool and spooky that everyone started drawing and imagining the witch with green skin from then on. It's her most famous feature now!

The Wicked Witch is so popular that people have told her story in many different ways. After the first book and movie, other writers and filmmakers made new stories about her. There's a book called 'Wicked' that tells her story from a different side, and it even became a big musical play on stage and a movie! She also showed up in a TV show called 'Once Upon a Time'.
