Utrecht University

Utrecht University is in a city called Utrecht, which is in the country of the Netherlands. Think of the Netherlands as a flat land with lots of windmills and bikes! The city of Utrecht is like a busy town with canals, which are like watery streets.

The university has many buildings spread out, some are old and some are new, all over the city. It's a place where students from all over the world come to learn.

Lots of people go to this university! In 2024, almost 40,000 students were learning there. That's more people than can fit in a big soccer stadium! Many teachers and helpers also work there, around 9,000 people. They all work together to make sure students have the best learning experience. It's a big community of thinkers and learners.
