University of Zurich

The University of Zurich is like a super-duper big school in a cool country called Switzerland. It's the biggest school in all of Switzerland, with about 28,000 students! That's more students than you'd find at a huge music festival. These students come to learn all sorts of interesting subjects, from how to help people when they're sick to understanding the stars and planets.

This university didn't just pop up yesterday! It started a very, very long time ago, way back in 1833. But the schools inside it are even older, some going back to 1525. That's older than your grandparents, and even older than their grandparents! It started with schools for learning about God, laws, and medicine, and then added a school for thinking and ideas.

What can you learn at the University of Zurich? Almost anything you can imagine! They have seven different 'faculties,' which are like big departments for different subjects.
