United States Secret Service

The United States Secret Service is like a team of special protectors for important people in America. Their main job is to keep the President, the Vice President, and their families safe. They also protect visiting leaders from other countries when they come to visit. It's a very important job that requires lots of training and bravery!

Believe it or not, the Secret Service didn't always protect presidents! A long, long time ago, their first big job was to stop people from making fake money. They wanted to make sure all the dollars and coins in America were real. So, they became super detectives for money first, and then they started protecting leaders.

These agents are like super-detectives because they investigate crimes, especially those involving money. But they are also like amazing bodyguards! They have to be ready for anything to keep the people they protect safe. They are always watching and making sure everyone is okay, like a hawk in the sky!

The Secret Service works all over the United States, wherever the President or other important people need to be. They might be at the White House in Washington, D.C., or traveling with the President on a plane or to a big event. They are always on duty, ready to protect!
