I have been reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to the kids at bedtime, so I asked Malaika if she could draw Aslan...

Key Facts
How Did This Magical Story Begin?
Imagine a writer named C.S. Lewis who loved telling stories. He wrote 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' a long, long time ago, in 1950!
It's part of a bigger collection of stories called 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. This book is super popular and you can find it in lots of libraries. It was the very first Narnia book written, but sometimes it's called the second story because of how the adventures happen.
Adventures in a Land of Snow!
The story starts in England, where four kids have to leave their home because of a war. They end up in a big, old house. The youngest, Lucy, finds a secret way into a magical land called Narnia through a wardrobe! It’s always winter there, but never Christmas, thanks to the mean White Witch. Lucy's brothers and sister join her, and they meet amazing talking animals and mythical creatures.
Meet Aslan, the Mighty Lion!
In Narnia, the children learn about a prophecy that says they can help save the land. They meet Aslan, a brave and wise lion who is the true king of Narnia. Aslan is incredibly powerful and kind. He makes a big sacrifice to save one of the children from the White Witch. But don't worry, he comes back to life and helps defeat the witch!
Kings and Queens of Narnia!
After the White Witch is defeated, Aslan crowns the four children as the new Kings and Queens of Narnia. They rule for many years, bringing peace and happiness to the land. Eventually, they find their way back through the wardrobe to their own world, but they always remember their amazing adventures in Narnia. It’s a story about bravery, friendship, and magic.
