Tesla is a super cool company that makes electric cars! These cars don't use gasoline like most cars. Instead, they run on electricity stored in big batteries. Tesla also makes other neat things like solar panels that catch sunlight to make power, and special batteries that can store that power for your house. It's all about making energy cleaner and more fun!

A long time ago, in 2003, two friends named Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning started Tesla. They named it after a very smart inventor named Nikola Tesla. Later, a famous person named Elon Musk joined and helped make Tesla even bigger.

Their very first car was a sporty one called the Roadster. Then came the Model S, Model X, Model 3, Model Y, and even a big truck called the Semi and a tough truck called the Cybertruck!

Teslas are special because they are electric! This means they help make the air cleaner because they dont have stinky exhaust fumes. They are also packed with cool technology, like screens that do almost everything and can even drive themselves a little bit! Some Teslas can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour faster than you can blink, which is super speedy!

Besides making awesome electric cars, Tesla is also a big deal in clean energy. They have solar panels that look like regular roof tiles, called solar shingles, and big batteries that can power a whole house or even help keep the electricity on for a whole neighborhood. This helps people use less power from things that might not be as good for the Earth.
