Tamaulipas

Imagine a giant map of Mexico! Tamaulipas is way up in the northeast corner, like the top right part of a puzzle piece. It has a super long border with the United States, specifically Texas!

To the east, it touches the big, blue Gulf of Mexico, where you can find lots of fish and maybe even dolphins. It's also neighbors with other Mexican states like Nuevo León and Veracruz, who are like its friendly neighbors.

Tamaulipas has all sorts of cool places. Some parts are flat and dry, perfect for growing yummy things. Other parts are near the coast, with sandy beaches and salty air. The weather can be warm, and sometimes it gets really hot! It's a place with sunshine and breezes, and the Gulf of Mexico brings lots of rain to some areas. It's a big state, so there's a lot to explore!
