Meet the Blue Palace!

It has a huge dome, like a giant upside-down bowl, and lots of smaller domes too. It's so big, it's like having a whole playground inside!

Who Built This Giant?

A long, long time ago, around 400 years ago, a young sultan named Ahmed wanted to build the most amazing mosque ever. He was only 19 when he started! He wanted it to be grander than any other mosque. They used lots of special stones and materials to build it. It took many years to finish, like building a really big LEGO castle that takes forever!

Why So Many Towers?

See those six tall, skinny towers? They are called minarets. Usually, mosques have one or two. But this one has six! That was super special and made it stand out. People would climb up these towers to call everyone to prayer. Imagine being able to see for miles from the very top!

A Place for Peace

Today, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque is still a very important place. People go there to pray and feel peaceful. It's also a place that tourists love to visit because it's so beautiful and has so much history. It's like a special landmark that tells a story about the past and brings people together.
