A Trip Back in Time!

This amazing cable car is super old! It was first thought of over 100 years ago, way back in 1908. It opened in 1912, which means it's older than your grandparents' grandparents! It was one of the very first cable cars ever built in the whole world. Wow!

Why It's So Cool!

The Sugarloaf Cable Car is like a magic elevator to the sky! It helps lots of people see the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro from way up high. You can see beaches, buildings, and even other mountains. It’s a special way to explore and have an amazing view!

How the Sky Cars Fly!

These special cars are like little cabins hanging from a strong metal rope. The rope is pulled by a machine, making the car move smoothly through the air. There are two parts to the ride. First, you go up to a smaller mountain, and then you take another car to the very top of Sugarloaf Mountain!
