St. Cloud State University

St. Cloud State University, or SCSU for short, is like a super-duper big school in a town called St. Cloud, Minnesota. It's not just a building, but a whole community where people go to learn all sorts of cool things! Think of it as a place where you can become an expert in anything you dream of, from building robots to understanding animals.

This giant learning place has been around for a super long time! It first opened its doors way back in 1869. That's even before your great-great-grandparents were born! It started small but grew and grew over the years to become one of the biggest schools in its state.

Can you imagine a playground filled with more kids than you can count? Well, SCSU is like that, but for grown-ups learning! In a recent year, over 8,000 big kids, called undergraduates, and almost 2,100 even bigger kids, called graduates, were learning there. That's a lot of brains working together!

SCSU is a public university. That means it's a place for everyone to learn and get smarter. It's part of a bigger group of schools in Minnesota that work together to help people get a great education and learn skills for exciting jobs.
