King Solomon: The Wisest King Ever!

Imagine a king who was so smart, people came from far away just to hear his wise words! That was King Solomon. He lived a super long time ago, over 3,000 years ago, in a place called Israel.

He was the son of King David, another famous king. Solomon became king when he was quite young, but he was already known for being very clever. He loved God and wanted to do what was right, which helped him rule his kingdom well.

King Solomon didn't just have a cool crown; he was a builder! His most famous project was building the First Temple in Jerusalem. This wasn't just any building; it was a beautiful and grand house for God.

He also built a magnificent palace for himself. It was so fancy, it took him 13 years to build! His palace was much bigger than a school bus and had special rooms and lots of gold.

Solomon was famous for his amazing wisdom. The Bible tells a story about two women who both claimed to be the mother of the same baby. Solomon knew just how to figure out who the real mother was!

He suggested cutting the baby in half, and the real mother cried out, 'Give the baby to her!' This showed Solomon's cleverness and fairness. He could solve tricky problems and make fair judgments for everyone in his kingdom.
