Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937 movie)

Imagine a movie that was as long as your favorite storybook, but instead of just pictures, everything MOVED and TALKED! That was Walt Disney's super-duper big dream. People thought he was a little bit crazy because making one short cartoon was already super hard.

But Walt believed in his idea so much, he kept working and working to make Snow White come to life on the big screen. It was a huge gamble, like betting all your allowance on one candy bar!

Snow White meets seven amazing dwarfs who live in a cozy cottage. There's Doc, who's the smarty-pants leader, Grumpy, who's always a bit grumpy, Happy, who loves to smile, Sleepy, who's always yawning, Bashful, who gets shy easily, Sneezy, who sneezes a lot, and Dopey, who can't talk but is super funny! They all have jobs like mining for jewels.

Each dwarf is different, just like your friends at school!

The Queen in this movie is super jealous of Snow White because everyone thinks Snow White is the fairest of them all. She has a magic mirror that tells her who is the prettiest. When the mirror says Snow White is prettier, the Queen gets SO mad! She tries to get rid of Snow White by sending a Huntsman to take her into the forest. It’s a scary part, but Snow White is brave and runs away!

Snow White finds the dwarfs' cottage and they let her stay and keep house for them. But the Queen finds out Snow White is still alive! She disguises herself as an old peddler and tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple.

Snow White falls into a deep sleep, and the dwarfs are very sad. But then, a handsome Prince comes along and his kiss wakes her up! They get married and live happily ever after.
