A long, long time ago, a brave soldier named Robert Baden-Powell wanted to help young boys become strong and good citizens. He wrote a book called 'Scouting for Boys' in 1908, and it was a HUGE hit! Kids loved the ideas so much that they started forming Scout groups everywhere.

Soon, girls wanted to join the fun too, and Scouting became a worldwide movement for everyone who loves adventure and helping others.
