Russia

Russia is the biggest country on Earth, like a super-duper giant! It stretches all the way from Eastern Europe to North Asia. If you were to fly across it, you'd pass through 11 different times of day! It's so wide that it shares borders with 14 other countries. Think of it like a huge playground that many friends can visit.

People have lived in Russia for thousands and thousands of years, even before dinosaurs! Long ago, brave explorers and rulers built up this giant land. They even created a huge empire that was one of the biggest ever. Later, Russia became part of a country called the Soviet Union, which was the first socialist country in the world.

Even though Russia is super big, lots of people live there, more than in any other country in Europe! Many of them live in big, busy cities. The capital city is called Moscow, and it's the biggest city in all of Europe. Another famous city is Saint Petersburg, which is like a treasure chest of art and culture.

Russia has amazing natural treasures, like lots of oil and gas deep underground. These are like special energy rocks that help power cars and homes. People in Russia work in many jobs, like digging for these resources or building things. They also have cool inventions, like the first satellite that went into space!
