Rog (factory)

Once upon a time, there was a big, old bicycle factory called Rog in a city called Ljubljana. But instead of making bikes, it became a super fun place for people to share art, music, and sports! It was like a giant playground and art studio all rolled into one, buzzing with creativity from 2006 to 2021.

Inside the Rog factory, there were so many cool things! You could find a place to listen to loud music, a park for skateboarding that was as big as a small playground, and even a football field. Artists had their own special rooms called ateliers to make amazing creations. It was a place where everyone could come together and have a good time.

The Rog factory wasn't just for fun, it was also a place that helped people. There was even a special clinic to help people who had to leave their homes. This shows that even old buildings can be used in new and exciting ways to help the community and bring people together for good things.

For many years, people talked about what to do with the big Rog factory. Should it be fixed up? Should it be used for something else? Finally, in 2021, the city decided it was time for the factory to close its doors as a creative center. It was a place that made a big splash for over 15 years!
