A poster is like a giant piece of paper that shows pictures and words. It's made to be seen by lots of people! Sometimes it’s on a wall in your classroom, and sometimes it’s stuck on a fence outside. Posters haven't always been around! A long, long time ago, people didn't have fancy printing machines. But then, around 150 years ago, people figured out how to print in bright colors really fast. This meant they could make tons of posters quickly and cheaply. Before that, making colorful pictures was very hard and took a super long time. Now, posters could be made for everyone to see!
