Cosmic Kiss meets Nebra Sky Disc

Key Facts
Meet the Amazing Sky Disc!
This is the Nebra Sky Disc, a really old treasure found in Germany. It's made of bronze, a metal that looks a bit green, and has shiny gold bits on it. It's about as big as a dinner plate and weighs as much as a big bag of sugar. The gold shapes look like the sun, the moon, and lots of stars, including a famous group called the Pleiades. It's like a very ancient picture book of the night sky!
Who Made This Star Map?
Nobody knows exactly who made it, but it's super, super old! Scientists think it was made about 3,800 years ago, way before even the pyramids in Egypt were built. It was found buried on a hill called Mittelberg. It's thought to be from a group of people called the Únětice culture. They were some of the first people to use bronze to make tools and treasures like this amazing disc.
What Does It Show Us?
The gold bits on the disc show us what the sky looked like a very long time ago. There's a big circle for the sun or full moon, a sliver for the crescent moon, and lots of dots for stars. There's even a special group of seven stars that we still call the Pleiades today!
Two curved lines might have shown when the sun was highest in the sky during summer and winter. It's the oldest picture of the sky we've ever found!
Why Is It So Special?
The Nebra Sky Disc is like a time machine that shows us how people long ago looked at the stars. It helps us understand what they thought was important and how they saw the world. Because it's so old and shows us the sky in such a cool way, it's considered one of the most important discoveries ever made from that time. It’s like finding a secret message from the past!
