Model (person)

Imagine someone who helps you see the coolest new shoes or the most colorful painting! That's a model! They use their bodies like a special hanger for clothes or like a living statue for artists. When you see a model, they are showing you how something might look on you or how an artist imagined it. It's like they are helping you try on the world!

Long, long ago, artists needed people to sit very still so they could draw or paint them. These were like the very first models! Later, when people started making lots of new clothes and things to sell, they needed people to show everyone how nice they looked. So, models started helping sell things, especially fancy dresses and suits in big fashion shows!

Models help us see what's new and exciting! When you see a model wearing a superhero cape, it makes you want to be a superhero too, right? Models help us imagine things. They help companies show off their products, like a new toy or a comfy sweater. Without models, it would be harder to know what's cool and what's for sale!

Models have a special job: to present something perfectly. For fashion, they walk down a runway, showing off clothes so everyone can see them from every angle. For art, they might hold a pose for hours so an artist can capture it. They don't usually talk or act like in a play; their job is to let the clothes or the art be the star!
