Minister (government)

Ministers are like the captains of different teams in a country's government. Each minister is in charge of a special job, like looking after schools, hospitals, or making sure everyone has enough food. They work together with other ministers to come up with plans, called policies, that help everyone in the country. Sometimes, the very top leader, called a Prime Minister, is also a minister!
