Mike Pompeo

Mike Pompeo is a person who used to work for the United States government in some very important jobs. He was born on December 30, 1963. Before he worked for the government, he was a soldier in the U.S. Army and then a lawyer. He even started his own businesses! Later, he became a leader in the House of Representatives, which is part of the government that makes laws.

One of Mike Pompeo's biggest jobs was being the Director of the CIA. The CIA is like a secret spy agency that gathers important information for the country. He was also the Secretary of State.
