A Park with a Past!
A long, long time ago, around the 1870s, this area was built for people who wanted nice homes. Later, in 1901, a very important person, President William McKinley, helped put a big statue of General John A. Logan on his horse right in the middle of the park! The statue is still there today. In 1930, the people in charge officially decided to call this park Logan Circle to remember General Logan.
