Imagine a giant party where famous actors, singers, and even presidents come to tell jokes and sing songs! That's kind of like Saturday Night Live (SNL). It's a TV show that started a long, long time ago, in 1975.

Every week, a special guest host leads the show. They do a funny speech, introduce the music, and act in silly skits with the regular cast. It's like being the captain of a comedy ship for one night!

So many cool people have been guests! The very first host was a comedian named George Carlin. Then, Candice Bergen was the first lady to host.

Some people have hosted SO many times, they get a special club called the 'Five-Timers Club'! Alec Baldwin has hosted the most, like 17 times! That's more times than you've been in school.

Even people who used to be on the show, like Chevy Chase and Tina Fey, have come back to host.
