Kama (river)

The Kama River is a super long river in a country called Russia. It starts its journey in a place called the Udmurt Republic. Then, it flows like a giant snake, twisting and turning through different lands.

It travels northwest, then northeast, and finally heads south and west. It's like a big blue ribbon connecting different parts of Russia before it joins an even bigger river called the Volga. It's so long, it's like traveling from your home to the beach and back many, many times!

The Kama River is a whopping 1,805 kilometers long! That's like stacking over 1,000 school buses end-to-end. It also has a huge 'drainage basin,' which is the area of land where all the water flows into the river.
