Josephine Tewson

Imagine someone who could make you giggle just by being on TV! That was Josephine Tewson. She was an actress, which means she pretended to be different people in stories.

She was especially good at making people laugh in funny TV shows called sitcoms. She played characters who were sometimes a bit grumpy, sometimes a bit silly, but always made us smile. She was like a sunshine maker for our living rooms!

Josephine's career was like a super long playground slide, lasting over 65 years! That's longer than you've been alive, and longer than your parents have been alive too! She was a true star who brought joy to so many families.

Even though Josephine was famous for making us laugh, she was also a very talented actress.
