Johann Strauss II wrote over 500 songs! Most of them were for dancing, like waltzes and polkas. He even wrote funny plays with music called operettas. His most famous song is probably 'The Blue Danube,' which sounds like a beautiful, flowing river. Can you imagine dancing to music that sounds like a river?
