Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Imagine a superhero who can run super fast and catch a football even when it's flying through the air! That's Jaxon Smith-Njigba, or JSN for short. He's a professional football player who plays for the Seattle Seahawks. His job is to catch passes from the quarterback and help his team score touchdowns. He's known for being really good at catching the ball, even when things get crazy on the field!

Jaxon learned to be a great football player at a big college called Ohio State. He was so good that he set a record for catching the most balls in one game – he caught 15 passes TWICE! That's like catching a whole pile of your favorite toys all at once. He also caught so many yards in one season that it was a new record for his team. He's like a human magnet for the football!

When JSN finished college, it was a super exciting day called the NFL Draft. This is where all the best young football players get picked by professional teams. Jaxon was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks very early, as the 20th pick! This means the Seahawks thought he was one of the most special players. He got to wear his new team's jersey and start his professional football adventure.

In his very first year playing professionally, JSN played in every single game! He even became a starter, which means he got to play a lot. He was so good that he caught over 1,100 yards worth of passes and tied a team record for catching 100 passes. That's a lot of catches! He's definitely a player to watch as he keeps getting better and better.
