To go ice fishing, you first need a frozen lake or river that is safe to stand on. Then, you make a hole in the ice, which can be done with a special tool called an auger. You drop your fishing line with bait into the hole and wait patiently. When a fish bites, you pull it up! Sometimes, people use spears to catch fish too.
