Iñigo Martínez

Imagine a super-fast soccer player who's really good at stopping the other team from scoring! That's Iñigo Martínez. He plays a special job on the field called a 'centre-back.' It means he's like a strong wall in front of his own goal. He's played for some really famous soccer teams and even for his country, Spain!

Iñigo started playing soccer when he was just a kid. When he turned 20, he got to play for a big team called Real Sociedad. He played so many games for them, more than 200! That's like going to school for many, many years. He scored 17 goals too, which is a lot for a defender!

Iñigo is known for being super strong and great at heading the ball. He can jump really high, maybe even higher than a giraffe! He also has a powerful kick. He's helped his teams win special trophies, like the Supercopa de España. That's like winning a big championship game!

Not only does Iñigo play for awesome clubs, but he also gets to wear the special red jersey for the Spanish national team! He played his very first game for Spain in 2013. It's a huge honor to represent your country on the soccer field. He's a true soccer hero!
