Howard Hughes

Howard Hughes was a super-smart and super-rich American who loved to build and fly planes! He also made movies and owned big businesses. He was one of the most famous people in the world when he was alive. Imagine being so good at so many things! He was born a long, long time ago, on Christmas Eve in 1905.

First, Howard Hughes became famous for making exciting movies, like 'Scarface'! But he really loved airplanes. He started his own airplane company and designed super-fast planes. One plane he built, the Spruce Goose, was the biggest flying boat ever made! Its wings were wider than a football field!

Howard Hughes wasn't just a builder, he was also a pilot! He loved to fly fast and set world records. He flew planes so quickly that he was like a superhero of the sky. He won many awards for his amazing flying skills. He even owned an airline called Trans World Airlines, which flew people all over the world.

Later in his life, Howard Hughes became a bit of a mystery. He didn't like to be seen by people very much. He also owned hotels and casinos in a city called Las Vegas and helped make it a famous place. Even though he was a bit shy later on, his inventions and movies are still remembered today.
