Where is Japan?

Imagine a country made of islands, like stepping stones in the ocean! That's Japan. It's far away across the big Pacific Ocean. It has lots of mountains and even some volcanoes that puff smoke! The capital city, Tokyo, is super big and busy, like a giant playground filled with people and tall buildings. It’s a place full of cool nature and exciting cities!

Who's in Charge?

Japan has a special leader called the Emperor, but his job is like being a king in a storybook – he’s there to wave and smile, not to make the rules. The real bosses are the Prime Minister and his team, called the Cabinet. They are like the captains of a ship, steering Japan!

They make important decisions about everything from schools to parks. It’s like having a class president and their helpers!

Making the Rules!

Japan has a special place called the National Diet where people who are chosen by everyone get together to make the laws. It's like a big meeting where they talk about what's best for the country. This place has two parts, like two teams working together. The people get to vote for who goes there, so it’s like you choosing your favorite superheroes to help decide things!

Fair Play and Justice!

If there are any disagreements or problems, Japan has judges who are like referees in a game. They make sure everyone plays fair and follows the rules. These judges work in courts, and the most important one is the Supreme Court. It’s like the ultimate judge who makes sure all the rules are fair and make sense for everyone in Japan. They are super important for keeping things peaceful!
