Geotechnical investigation

Before we build anything super tall, like a skyscraper or a big bridge, grown-ups need to be detectives! They go to the place where the building will be and look very carefully at the ground. Geotechnical investigations help engineers choose the best way to build a super strong base, called a foundation, so everything stays safe.
