Fitzcarraldo: The Crazy Dream of a Ship Over Mountains!

The craziest part was how Fitzcarraldo planned to move his ship. He wanted to drag it OVER mountains! Think about trying to pull a school bus up a really, really steep playground slide. That's what his team had to do, but with a boat that weighed as much as 300 school buses! It was super hard work.

A famous filmmaker named Werner Herzog heard about this incredible story and decided to make a movie about it. But making the movie was almost as wild as the story itself! The people making the film had to actually try and pull the real boat up the hill. It was so tough that some people got hurt!
