Festival of San Fermín

Imagine a whole city in Spain throwing a giant party for a whole week! That's the Festival of San Fermín in Pamplona. It's a super fun celebration with parades, music, and special events. The party starts with a big firework and ends with a sad song. It's all about honoring Saint Fermin, who is very important to the people there.

This amazing festival has been happening for a very, very long time. It started as a way to celebrate Saint Fermin, who was a real person a long, long time ago. Over the years, people added more and more fun things to do, like the famous running of the bulls. It's a tradition that has grown and changed, but it's still a big deal today.

The most famous part of the festival is when brave (or maybe a little crazy!) people run in front of angry bulls through the city streets. The bulls run really fast, and the people have to be quick to dodge them. It's a bit like a super-fast game of tag, but with very big, strong animals! It happens every morning for eight days.

Even though the running of the bulls is super famous, there's so much more to see and do! There are colorful parades with giant puppets, lots of music filling the streets, and delicious food to eat. People wear white clothes with red scarves and sashes, making the whole city look like a giant party. It's a time for everyone to come together and have a fantastic time.
