His real name was Liu Che. He became emperor when he was just a teenager and ruled for an amazing 54 years! That's longer than most people live!
He was like the captain of a giant ship, steering the Han dynasty through big adventures and making it super strong.

Emperor Wu was like a builder, but instead of bricks, he built up his empire! He sent brave explorers, like Zhang Qian, far away to make friends with other countries. This helped China trade and share cool things.
