Dolly Parton is a super famous singer and songwriter from America. She’s been making music for a super long time, like 60 years! That’s longer than your parents have been alive!

She’s written over 3,000 songs, which is like writing a song for every day of your life for over 8 years! She’s called the 'Queen of Country' because she’s so good at country music. She’s won lots of awards, like Grammy Awards, which are like the biggest trophies for music!

Dolly grew up in a small cabin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. She was one of 12 kids! Imagine having that many brothers and sisters!

Even though she didn't have a lot of toys, she had a big imagination and loved to sing. Her first big album came out when she was just 21 years old. Since then, she’s released over 50 albums and her songs have been heard all over the world.
