Iran's Awesome Counties!

Iran is a big country in a part of the world called the Middle East. Think of provinces as big neighborhoods, and counties are smaller towns or cities within those neighborhoods. Each county has its own special place on the map, like a dot on a treasure map! Some counties are super big, while others are cozy and small. They are all connected, making Iran a wonderful place!

Every county has a special leader called a farmândâr. This person is like the principal of a school, making sure everything runs smoothly! They help organize fun events and make sure all the different parts of the county work together. It's like having a captain for a ship, guiding everyone safely. The farmândâr is the most important person in charge of their county.

Counties are like big boxes filled with smaller boxes! Inside a county, you find districts, which are like smaller neighborhoods. These districts have cities and even groups of villages called rural districts. So, a county is a collection of places where people live and work. It's like a LEGO set with many different bricks that fit together perfectly!

Did you know that one part of Iran, called Fars, has a whopping 37 counties? That's more counties than you have fingers and toes, and then some! Another part, called Qom, only has 3 counties. Iran has grown a lot, and so have its counties. Back in 2005, there were 324 counties, but now there are many more, over 483! That's a lot of places to explore!
