This cool idea started a long, long time ago with two smart thinkers named C.S. Peirce and John Dewey. They noticed that when people worked together to learn, they could discover amazing things.

Before them, people thought only one super-smart person could make discoveries. But Peirce and Dewey said, 'Nope! It's better when everyone shares their thoughts!' They believed that learning is like a team sport, not a solo race.
