Who Were the Circassians?

Long ago, in a beautiful land near the Black Sea, lived a happy people called the Circassians. They loved their mountains and their way of life. They were known for being brave and strong. But then, a big army came and wanted their land. This made their lives very, very hard.

A Very Unfair Time

During a big war, the Circassian people were treated terribly. Many were forced to leave their homes, like being told to pack a tiny bag and move far away. Sadly, many people got sick or hungry on their long journey, and some never made it back to their homes. It was a very sad time for them.

Why It Was So Bad

The soldiers who came were very mean. They didn't want the Circassians to stay. They made them leave their homes and sometimes even burned their villages. It was like someone taking away all your toys and not letting you play anymore. This was a terrible injustice.

Remembering the Past

Today, people remember what happened to the Circassians. It’s important to learn about sad events so we can try to make sure they don't happen again. We remember the Circassian people and hope for a world where everyone is treated with kindness and respect.
