Brooks started playing golf when he was a kid, just like you might play sports. He went to college at Florida State University, where he played golf for his team. Then, in 2012, he decided to become a professional golfer, which means he plays golf for a living! He even played in Europe for a while before coming back to play in America and win amazing tournaments.

Brooks has won five of the most important golf championships in the world, called 'majors.' Winning just one is super hard, but he's won FIVE! That's like winning the championship trophy in five different sports all by yourself. He won the U.S. Open twice and the PGA Championship three times. He's a true golf champion!
